These pancake may not be the prettiest you’ve ever seen, but they’re packed with wholesome ingredients that will keep you full and avoid the sugar crash (unless you’re heavy handed with the maple syrup).
We used our favourite plant based protein powder for this recipe however, you can make substitutions as preferred.
The best part about this recipe is it’s done in 3 easy steps and it’s all prepared in your blender which saves you the mess!

Makes: 4-6 pancakes
* 1 cup quinoa oats
* 4 eggs
* 1-2 bananas
* 1/8 cup cacoa powder
* 1/4 cup chocolate hemp protein powder
* 1 tbs vanilla extract
* 1-2 tbs coconut oil
* raspberries & kiwis for topping
* maple syrup for topping
1️⃣ In a blender, mix the eggs, oats, banana & vanilla extract for 30 seconds.
2️⃣ Add in the protein powder and cacao powder. Mix until smooth and thick.
3️⃣ Melt the coconut oil in a non-stick pan and pour medium sized circles onto the hot pan. Allow for the pancakes to cook 1-2 minutes per side. Do not overcook to ensure they aren’t too dry.
